Raymond L. DeLaRosa  age 76 of Steger, Illinois passed away on March 12,  2013.  Beloved husband of Ramona (nee Gayton).  Father of Monica (Charles) Shoemake, Donna  (Joshua) Newman, Lawrence DeLaRosa and Joseph DeLaRosa.  Grandfather of Cassandra, Alyssa, Taylor, Jared, Eli, Jaydon and Asher.  Brother of Carmen (Raymond) Gayton, Amelia (Ramon) Nunez, Josephine Escobedo, the late Mary Garza and the late Ralph DeLaRosa. A crane operator for 31 years at Calumet Steel, Maintenance man for Rich Central and Hill Crest High Schools, Grievance committee and secretary for Steel Workers Union of America, member of the Chicago Heights Moose Lodge #828 and served honorably for the U.S. Army.Visitation Friday, March 14, 2014 from 3:00PM until 8:00PM at Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main Street, Crete, Illinois. Funeral mass at 10:00AM on Saturday  at St. Liborius Catholic Church, 35^th and Halsted Blvd., Steger, Illinois.  Burial to be announced for Information 708-672-7600.
