Richard B. Smith age 83 of Monee, Illinois passed away on February 28, 2016. Beloved husband to Ruth (nee Donaldson). Loving father to Ernie (Debra) Smith and the late Tracy Smith 2010. Cherished grandfather to Spencer, Nathan and Morgan Smith. Richard worked as a special agent with the F.B.I. Richard was the head and assistant softball coach for University of St. Francis from 1982 to 2012. He was a contributing author to the National Fast Pitch Coaches Association Newsletter; he was an author to additional softball books and served proudly in the U.S. Army.Visitation on Thursday, March 3 from 2P.M. to 8P.M. at Monee Funeral Home 5450 Wilson St. (at Governors Hwy.), Monee, IL 60449.
