Robert A Borio

Robert “Bob”” Borio, age 62, of Crete, Illinois, born February 4, 1954, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016.  Beloved Father of Valerie Rose Borio; loving brother to sisters Mary Lou (William) Kovacich; Connie (Robert) Rodenburg; Ruth Ann (Gerald) Borio Besser.  Dear Uncle to four nephews Peter (Colleen) Rodenburg; Benjamin (Jill) Rodenburg; Daniel Rodenburg, and Jeffrey (Mary) Kovacich. One Great Nephew, Jackson Rodenburg (Peter and Colleen). He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Pete (1975) and Mary Borio (1993).   He had 24 first cousins.Bob cherished his Family and many Friends. He was a very generous man and always ready and willing to give a hand. His sense of humor and quick wit kept everyone on their toes and laughing.Bob was a brick mason craftsman making the linings in the coke ovens in steel mills all around the United States. He was a member of the Arcadia Masonic Lodge in Lansing.
