Robert D. Bruns age 67 longtime resident of Chicago Heights, Illinois passed away on July 19, 2023.  Loving brother to Karen (Greg) Priore.  Dear uncle to Emilie (Brian) Czak and Eric Hussman; great uncle to Ava and Chloe.  Preceded in death by his parents Robert N. and Dorothy (nee Carlson) Bruns. Robert retired from Canadian National Railroad and was a volunteer for Holbrook Fire Department.  Robert will be missed by everyone who knew him.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to South Suburban Humane Society.

    Rob was a great guy to grow up with. As I reminisced about him I recalled so many funny tales. It brought a flood of positive memories. We shared so many life experiences that brought a smile to my face. So sorry he passed away so young. He was a wonderful friend and a man. With Godspeed Rob…love you man.
