Rosina Lotspeich (nee Jonak) age 87 of Steger, Illinois passed away on June 23, 2021. Loving wife of the late Emil (2000); beloved mother of Charlotte Castine and Robert (Melissa) Lotspeich. Beautiful grandmother of Isabelle and Emma. Dear sister of the late Johann (late Rosalie) Jonak, late Maria (late Georg) Sutter, late Elisabeth (late August) Schiefner, late Magdalena (late Anton) Ams, Franziska (late Kurt) Ehrhard tand Regina and Alfred Michl. Fond aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Rosina was born in Yugoslavia and moved to Germany before immigrating to the United States where she met her husband, Emil, in Chicago. As a working mom, Rosina held various jobs to help provide for her family until she retired to take care of her husband who fell ill. She had a very big heart to where she was kind, caring, and always helping family and friends. Rosina had many talents; among them she was an avid baker. She even took classes at the Wilton School where she used her skills to make beautiful panoramic sugar Easter eggs and delicious pastries which she shared with everyone. Rosina especially adored her grandchildren and loved showing photos of them with everyone she met. She will truly be missed by all.
