Ruth Ann B. Besser (nee Borio) age 66 of Steger, Illinois passed away on August 18, 2018.  Loving Wife to Jerry; Loving Mom to her fur-baby €œBuster€; step-mom to Doug (Dawn) Besser, David (Deanna) Besser, Diane (Jeff) Shipley and Dorene (Mark) Perkins. Beautiful sister to Mary Lou Kovacich, Connie (Robert) Rodenburg. Dear Aunt to Valerie Rose Borio; Jeff (Mary) Kovacich; Peter (Colleen) Rodenburg, Benjamin (Jill) Rodenburg and Daniel Rodenburg.  Blessed with nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-nephew.  Preceded in death by her parents Peter and Mary (nee Andrighetti) Borio, brother Robert Borio (2016) and brother-in-law William Kovacich (2017). 

Ruth Ann€™s week, was spent with her husband, her beloved dog €œBuster€, friends, family and traveling. She was a career employee of The University of Chicago Hospitals (30+ years).

Visitation will be Thursday, August 23^rd  from 3:00 P.M. €“ 8:00 P.M. at Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main St.(Dixie Hwy.), Crete, IL 60417.
