Walter Joseph Demitrowicz (Wally Demith) passed away on July 18th, 2018 at the age of 88. Wally will always be in the heart of his wife of 65 years Frances (Saculla), along with six daughters Terry Andersen (Andrew Damer), Joni Lewis (Jerry), late Sandy Wilson (1995), Shari Demitrowicz, Tracy Stafford, Tami Demitrowicz (Jay Steininger), nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and a sister Stella Barnett (Billy). Son of the late Caroline Kowalczyk and Stanley Demitrowicz. Wally was a lifetime member of the Polish-American Democratic Club, and an accordion player with the Polka Playmates. He retired from the maintenance department at St. Margaret€™s Hospital in Dyer. Wally enjoyed visiting the casinos, playing cards, solving crossword puzzles, and was an avid sports fan. His favorite past time was spending time with his family.Celebration of Wally€™s life will be held Friday, July 20th, 2018, 9AM – 12 noon at Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home on 540 Dixie Highway in Chicago Heights. Interment:  Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, Illinois.  Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude€™s Children€™s Hospital, Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, and Shriners Hospital for Children.”
